About Me

I have always been an entrepreneur since my early years. I try a lot of things and have been fortunate to have had many great experiences in my life, all of which I have learned from. I have a passion for life, reading, learning, and teaching others how to improve their lives. This is the purpose of this blog.

Book List

Here’s an updated list of my top ten books that have the potential to change your life if you apply them.

You must want to learn, you must read and apply the concepts that you learn in these books. If you are ready for them, each one of these books has the potential to change your life for the better. Each of them have had a massive impact on my life and have helped shape me into the person that I am today.

These are in no particular order. I will be changing this list on a regular basis and update it with new books that I am reading, so make sure that you check back often.

Book

Description

1.

I know what you’re thinking – it’s so cliché to mention this book, especially to mention it first, as so many people do. All I can say is there is a good reason for this. If you’ve read it, you know what I am talking about. If you haven’t read it at least twice, you should. I believe that everyone from all walks of life should read this book, but if you are to get anything out of it, you must WANT to and you must read it more than once.
2. This is another classic, although a very much under-appreciated one. This is the basis for much of the self-image psychology books being written currently. Get it from the source, read this book. The author’s story is very interesting also. If you want to start seeing yourself in a new way and become more confident, read and apply this book.
3. Richard Branson is an entrepreneurial icon. This book tells the story of how he got started, in his own words. He has such an inspirational story and this book will open your mind and cause you to realize the abundance of possibility out there in the business world. A lot of Richard Branson’s success is due to his attitude and belief. These can be modeled by reading his story.
4. Trump is arguably the most powerful and forceful icon of his generation. This book tells the story of his rise to power and great wealth in his own words. He talks boastfully and in minute detail about a handful of the most historic and ambitious projects that he has been involved in. Reading this book is close to having an actual conversation with Trump and will convince you that nothing is outside of your reach.
5. Put aside any preconceptions you may have about Tony Robbins. This is the best and most comprehensive book on taking control of your body, mind and emotions. I have been a student of NLP for some time now, and although now some of the techniques in this book seem primitive, this is a great start and a great introduction to the concepts and basics of NLP.
6.

Bill Nasby has a compelling story and is one of the best contemporary teachers of the “thoughts are things” ideas that Napoleon Hill popularized. He is not well known outside of the Real Estate Sales training world, which is really a shame because he is so much better than many more popular authors. He has a unique and very effective method of setting goals which by itself makes this program invaluable. He will get you going and more importantly will get you actually taking action to achieve your goals.
7.

I am a fan of the entire “Rich Dad” series of books, and of the Cashflow board game. This is the best and most detailed of all of Kiyosaki’s books. This is a must read for any business person or investor. It will open your eyes and allow you to see “the other side of the coin” which most investors are incapable of seeing.
8. A business partner called me in the middle of the day on a Thursday and told me about this book. He told me to stop what I was doing, buy the book, and read it. This is exactly what I did immediately, and I suggest that you do the same. This book will challenge your mind and it will force you to look at building businesses and generating income in a way that will enable you to become a member of the “New wealth elite”. I can’t say enough about it and frankly I don’t even know where to start. This is the most influential and valuable book of this type that I have read in the past year, and I have read hundreds of books like this.
9.

I picked up this book because of the cover. It was bright orange with blue lettering and very eye-catching. I picked it up, skimmed the book, and realized it was exactly what I had been looking for. This is the mother of all networking books. Most networking books are just rehashed versions of collective common sense and social skills. This book is in a completely different league. Since reading this book, I have really went to work on revitalizing and building my network. It’s been easy and fun to reconnect with old friends, and even more fun realizing how influential many of my friends are and how willing they are to help me succeed in business and in life.
10. Some people accuse this book of being too new-agey, and parts of it can be weird. This doesn’t change the fact that this is a very useful and practical book. The book focuses on revealing manipulation tactics that people use on us on a daily basis, sometimes without doing so on purpose. The book describes in detail how to take charge of our life, your feelings, and assert yourself as a “non-victim”. I have been able to use this in a very practical way in my life, and have been able to rid myself of some negative people in my life as a result after I realized what they were doing to me.
