I recently added a new section to my website entitled “speaking”. I am going to keep this updated with audio recordings of speeches I have given. I was invited to give my “Avoiding Negativity” speech in front of approximately 45 people at a non-toastmasters related event! Although I am not getting paid for this, it will be my first legitimate speaking engagement, hopefully with more to follow. I am getting my name out there!

Zo, It was a pleasure having you speak at our meeting last week! After that speech I know we will need to compensate you next time. There will be a next time for sure!
The conversations all week from members attending the meeting have told me you gave them a healthy perspective. It will stay with them a while, as for me I hope it stays with them for the rest of there life!

As an update to my readers, the speech went over very well. Afterwards, I did recieve the standing ovation that I joke about during my “Avoiding Negativity” speech!
